Welcome to TALCIE Open Ed, an open educational website for the teaching and learning of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.

A creative, collaborative tool for teachers and learners

TALCIE Open Ed exists to make it easy for the early adopters of open education - practitioners, consultants, teachers, students and the eternal student in each of us - to hit the ground running and make open education happen. It's a collaborative platform through which collective experience is being captured. Importantly, it's also a teaching tool through which that experience is shared and through which its users can build a collective understanding.

We're still in our early days, but we're developing a rich suite of topics, teaching and learning activities and other resources to help enrich the experience of teachers and learners of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. And they're all open for you to explore and use:

The Entrepreneurial Experience			A teaching team at Mount Royal is using an entirely open education approach to developing and delivering a new course called The Entrepreneurial Experience. Explore the complete set of resources and practices for this cross-campus course or get a taste by checking out either the teaser or sneak peak tour. This is the first in a series of new courses being developed by the team, so keep your ears to the ground over the coming months.
How To			In order to share their experience and help make it accessible to future generations of students and teachers, the Mount Royal team is also capturing the basic steps in how they are doing it. From how TALCIE is used together with Blackboard, to how to setup and run a collaborative workspace like their Venture Design Studio, you can find the details in the How To section.
