Teaser - The Entrepreneurial Experience

Mount Royal is offering a new course and we want you to know about it....

Why should I take it?

We'll meet in the classroom, but don't expect your traditional lecture-and-listen format - the classroom experience in ENTR 3301 is very unique. You'll be part of an experience. Expect to be exposed to the ideas of leading thinkers from our community and around the world. Expect to be challenged in your thinking. Expect to make a real impact through the course activities.

ENTR 3301 will be offered as a General Education course and as part of a Minor in Entrepreneurship at Mount Royal. We also expect it to become an elective in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

You won't need to buy a textbook. What we'll be learning is so current that no single textbook does the job. Instead, we'll use a variety of web-based resources that you can access for free from anywhere you already surf the web.

What's it all about?

As the title implies, this course provides an experience. It's dynamic and highly engaging. It's interesting and current. It's challenging and exciting. And it's relevant to your career - no matter where it may take you.

Through cutting edge teaching and learning methods and newly-designed activities you'll develop a first-hand understanding of entrepreneurship and build an awareness of the experiences entrepreneurs have. We explore entrepreneurship in developing nations and right here in our own backyard. We look at the role of creative, innovative and entrepreneurial thinking in new and existing companies and in non-profit settings.
